Gifts for Garden Lovers and Growers

I have always found joy in growing our own fruit and veg, from those early childhood memories of watching cress seeds sprout out of an egg shell head, to indulging in the rewards of my Mum’s abundant kitchen garden. So when a move from the spacious countryside to the city happened in 2020 I was determined to keep my hands earthy and get growing! But I wanted to do it differently this time and be surrounded by a community of like minded growers, so after a 2 year wait on the council allotment list we got the magic call and met our plot! 273B was ours!

Having just celebrated it's centenary we soon realised the soil was tired and would need some TLC, so invested in a few truck loads of digestate to put some goodness back. It's a scruffy little patch full of of reclaimed bits and bobs that we have cobbled together to make net covers etc, but it's an oasis in the city and full of the most generous souls.

It wasn't long before we were rewarded with produce and this was where the seed was sewn for a new collection of greeting cards 'GROW' (after all I had some very patient models!) Illustrations of the produce were translated into vibrant risograph prints all of which are printed in our Norwich studio.

The reaction to the collection of Grow greeting cards and now A4 prints has been great, it's a collection a feel very proud of especially when I see it out in the wild in our stockists stores and gallery shops. There are lots more designs in the making with foraging being added into the mix! Watch this space!
